Our Team

To ensure that the children in our nursery receive the best possible care we have a comprehensive recruitment policy which helps us to choose the right individual for the job.

All of our full time staff have obtained or are working towards a level three qualification in childcare.

All our employees are checked by us through the criminal records bureau, no member of staff is left unattended with children until all checks come back clear and we believe them to be competent in what they do. Each member of our team maintains their own professional profile where they can record their qualifications, training and details of relevant work experience.

We conduct regular staff appraisals to ensure that everyone is meeting their individual targets and that we are providing them with appropriate opportunities to do so.

Nursery Manager
My name is Claire, and my background is in nursing. For many years I specialised in cardiothoracic nursing (hearts and lungs) at Harefield Hospital. 

After having my own children (Grace and Emily) and moving to Shepherds Hill House it seemed like an ideal opportunity to set up the nursery (something we had thought about doing for some time). 

I am currently completing my childcare qualifications and having now reached level 3, I recently took over the Nursery Manager position after our previous manager left.
