Children feel secure when they are able to make sense of their surroundings, so our indoor and outdoor areas have been designed to provide the ideal environment in which children can develop and thrive.
Our outdoor environment has been specifically developed to encourage children's social, emotional and physical development by helping them to understand nature and the world around them. Our pets corner is a particular favourite, rarely found in other nurseries.
Our carefully planned indoor setting features distinct areas for role play, language and literacy, problem solving, sensory discovery and creativity. Within these areas children are able to embark upon self discovery, participate in planned activities and create their own pursuits from carefully selected stimuli, all of which feeds into the six areas of learning and development set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (as described on our Curriculum page.)
